They need a very cold, snowy winter so they can go into their long winter sleep. They also need rivers with fish and bushes with berries to eat and get fat before winter. 4 Where could lions live? - Lions need wide grasslands with short yellow grass that matches their brown fur. They love hot, sunny weather because they spend 20 hours a day sleeping in the sun. Finally, they need big herds of animals to hunt together. Explanation 1 Perfect match!
