Indonesia sits on the Pacific Ring of Fire, a belt of volcanoes that sits along 25,000 miles. Some of the most famous volcanoes are Mount Tambora (the site of the biggest eruption in history) and Java's Mount Merapi (the most active volcano in Indonesia and one of the most deadly in the world).
