Explanation

China built the world’s longest wall — The Great Wall — stretching over 21,000 kilometers! That’s like walking from Singapore to London… and still having distance left!

Singapore is one of only three city-states in the entire world — meaning the whole country is basically one big city! Despite its small size, it’s insanely clean, super high-tech, and home to one of the world’s busiest ports. Fun fact: chewing gum is actually banned here (unless it’s for medical reasons), which is one reason the streets are spotless.

Canada is the second-largest country in the world — so big that it has more lakes than every other country combined! It’s famous for its stunning natural scenery, icy winters, and friendly people who’ll probably apologize even if you bump into them. Oh, and maple syrup? That’s basically liquid gold over there.

The United States is one of the most diverse countries on Earth — home to over 330 million people from almost every culture you can think of. It’s where jazz, fast food, Hollywood movies, and NASA rockets all came from. Fun twist: the U.S. has no official national language, even though almost everyone speaks English!

Russia is the largest country in the world — it’s so huge it stretches across 11 time zones! You could literally eat breakfast in one part of Russia and still be on your way to bed in another. It’s home to frozen tundras, vast forests, and the famous Trans-Siberian Railway — the longest train route on Earth, running over 9,000 km!

Brazil is the largest country in South America and home to the Amazon Rainforest — the planet’s biggest jungle, bursting with millions of species of plants and animals. It’s also the land of football legends, epic carnivals, and beaches that stretch for miles. Oh, and fun fact: Rio de Janeiro was once the capital of Portugal — the only time a European empire was ruled from a city outside Europe!

Australia is the world’s sixth-largest country, but most of it is desert! It’s famous for its unique wildlife — think kangaroos, koalas, and the deadly but fascinating creatures like the box jellyfish. Fun fact: Australia has over 10,000 beaches, so if you tried to visit a new one every day, it would take you more than 27 years!

France is famous for its art, fashion, and amazing food — from croissants to cheese that smells funky but tastes amazing. Paris, the capital, is home to the Eiffel Tower, one of the world’s most iconic landmarks. Fun fact: France was the first country to introduce street numbering, so finding addresses became way easier… and yes, the baguette is basically a national treasure!

Greenland is the world’s largest island that isn’t a continent — but most of it is covered in ice! Even though it’s massive, only about 56,000 people live there. Fun fact: in the summer, some parts of Greenland experience the ‘midnight sun,’ where the sun doesn’t set at all for weeks. And yes, it’s way colder than your freezer at home!

South Africa is known as the ‘Rainbow Nation’ because of its incredible diversity — people, cultures, and languages (it actually has 11 official languages!). It’s home to epic wildlife like lions, elephants, and rhinos, and some of the world’s most famous natural landmarks, like Table Mountain and the Cape of Good Hope. Fun fact: South Africa is the only country to have hosted the soccer, cricket, and rugby World Cups!

Egypt is home to one of the world’s oldest civilizations, famous for its pharaohs, pyramids, and the Sphinx. The Nile River, the longest river in Africa, made life possible in the desert thousands of years ago. Fun fact: some of the pyramids are so precise that modern engineers still marvel at how they were built — without cranes or computers!

India is the world’s second-most populous country, home to over 1.4 billion people and a mind-blowing variety of cultures, languages, and religions. It gave the world yoga, spices, and the Taj Mahal — a breathtaking monument built entirely of white marble. Fun fact: India has the world’s largest postal network, with over 150,000 post offices!

Argentina is famous for its tango music, mouthwatering beef, and the mighty Andes Mountains running along its west side. It’s home to the massive Iguazu Falls, one of the biggest waterfall systems in the world. Fun fact: Argentina gave the world the beloved football legend Lionel Messi, and the country’s love for football is basically a national sport obsession!

Japan is an island nation made up of over 6,800 islands, blending ancient traditions with cutting-edge technology. It’s home to cherry blossoms, samurai history, and some of the world’s busiest cities like Tokyo. Fun fact: Japan has the world’s busiest pedestrian crossing — the Shibuya Crossing — where hundreds of people cross from all directions at once, like a perfectly timed chaos!

Denmark is known as one of the happiest countries in the world and is famous for its cozy ‘hygge’ lifestyle, where people enjoy simple comforts like candles and good company. It’s the birthplace of LEGO, so basically the whole world’s kids (and adults) owe it a lot of fun. Fun fact: Denmark has more bicycles than people, making it super eco-friendly and easy to explore!

Mexico is packed with colorful culture, spicy food, and ancient history. It’s home to the Aztec and Maya civilizations, and famous landmarks like Chichen Itza. Fun fact: Mexico gave the world chocolate, corn, and tequila — basically some of life’s essentials. Plus, the Day of the Dead festival turns remembrance into one of the most lively celebrations you’ll ever see!

Papua New Guinea is one of the most culturally diverse countries on Earth, with over 800 languages spoken! It’s packed with dense rainforests, active volcanoes, and incredible wildlife. Fun fact: some of its traditional tribes still live in remote villages using ancient customs that haven’t changed for centuries — it’s like stepping back in time!
