Classroom activities can include games such as Taboo, Scattergories and Pictionary that encourage students to use vocabulary in fun and interactive ways. By limiting the use of common words, students have to come up with other words to describe things and think a bit outside the box.

Classroom activities can include memorizing monologues, taking part in simulations, role plays and the creation of skits, videos, commercials or other. In these activities students are encouraged to be creative and use the language in an extended format to get a message across and to communicate effectively. As in all aspects of language teaching culture is heavily involved here and helps to build the scenarios that students interact within.
