A case worker at one of the approved entities must fax a letter certifying that the customer is or has been a victim of family violence.

Example of proof is court order of ID theft or written report by a law enforcement agency. Customer must fax proof to Reliant customer care.

Customer will provide proof of low income satus i.e. Medicaid, Medicare, food stamps, SSI and TANF. This will not waive the deposit, it creates installments.

A person that is credit worthy to be the guarantor for the new Reliant customer. Call center will provide eligibility of Co-Signer.

Reliant Energy cannot define the qualifications of medically indigent. This is required by a medical or government 3rd party. Advise the customer that their enrollment will be delayed until proof has been received and approved.

A letter showing proof of satisfactory payment history with a previous retail electric provider.

Any one that is 65+ that has no delinquesnt accounts with Reliant. Must provide proof of age.

A onetime, non refundable fee, that takes the place of a deposit. The fee will be a % of the deposit shown and paid directly through the 3rd party company.
