Explanation

Your face and your intonation can invite the other person to reply or just the other way round.

To sound interested, you have to repeat the auxiliary verb and add a personal pronoun.

The key to it is to invert the order of the auxiliary verb and the subject, as you do when you are making questions.

If the sentence is positive, we use a positive auxiliary verb, if we use the verb to be in the sentence, we also use the verb to be in the echo question.

We use the verb to have as an auxiliary verb in sentences where the tense is present perfect.

Since have here is not an auxiliary verb, it is not necessary to repeat the verb. We use do instead.

If we have a normal verb in the past, we make the exho question with the auxiliary verb in the past.
