It is understood as a right to the capacity of the citizens to demand the established by the law, without discarding a person by their race, gender or politics. Every citizen must know what their rights and duties are. Each and every one of the people have rights are men or women. All rights are essential but some are highlighted: Protection by the public authorities, right to a fair trial Judicial protection and criminal legality, freedom of expression Right to education Right to health Among the most outstanding duties are: Defend and disseminate human rights as a basis for peaceful coexistence. Respect the authorities. Protect the country's natural and cultural resources. 3 Right and duties citizenship Coexistence To be able to claim our rights it is essential to know that this also means that we are subject to certain obligations. In this way, if I want others to respect me, first of all I must respect them. If I want to be able to think and speak freely, I also have to be willing to listen to what others want to say... etc, so we can say that our freedoms end up in the place where the others start, thus basing the coexistence in mutual respect. For this it is necessary that from childhood work the different social skills necessary to be able to relate in a peaceful way to a conflict, opting for the negotiation and the establishment of agreements that satisfy as much as possible to everyone involved. 4 The struggle for rights The struggle for rights The proclamation of rights is the result of a struggle, of great effort for centuries and many people to achieve recognition and possibilities that bring us closer to a better world. In earlier societies, all human beings were not considered to be equal. In many cases, rights to freedom or life were not even valued. There were times when slaves were considered little more than animals, so they could be captured, sold, mistreated and even killed with impunity by their "owners". And, as for equality, the more traditional systems distinguished strata and castes; That is to say, groups of people who enjoyed privileges that others did not have simply because they were born in different families. 5 Freedom and Human Rights

Rights and duties of the citizen

There are countless rights and duties for citizens, examples: health, education among others. It is understood as a right to the capacity of the citizens to demand the established by the law, without discarding a person by their race, gender or politics. Every citizen must know what their rights and duties are. Each and every one of the people have rights are men or women.

All rights are essential but some are highlighted:

Protection by the public authorities, right to a fair trial
Judicial protection and criminal legality, freedom of expression
Right to education
Right to health
