À propos de cette activité
Biomolecules form the basis of life. These substances are part of the chemical composition of all organisms. These substances are also required for the growth, maintenance and even for survival in extreme environment conditions.
The main classes of biomolecules are carbohydrates, proteins, lipids and nucleic acids.
These are macromolecules; they are large molecules that composed of thousands of covalently connected atoms.
Before we begin our lesson today, let us first see how much you still remember from your discussions in Organic Chemistry during Grade 9. Read each question carefully and choose the lilypad containing the correct answer to help Froggy move forward.
