The atmosphere is absolutely electric as of Formula 1 fans the grandstands . The cars are lining up on the starting grid , waiting for the lights to go out . Max Verstappen starts from pole position , with Lando Norris alongside him on the front row . Both drivers have looked incredibly fast all weekend . The mechanics step away from the cars , the engines are roaring , and the tension is unbelievable . Five red lights . . . Lights out and away we go ! Verstappen gets an excellent launch , but Norris stays right beside him as they head into Turn One . Hamilton is now within DRS range , and this could be his chance to make an overtake . He opens the DRS on the back straight and pulls alongside Leclerc . What a fantastic move ! Meanwhile , Ferrari has decided to call Leclerc into the pit lane for fresh tyres . The pit crew changes all four tyres in just two point three seconds . That could make all the difference later in the race . ( The finish ) There are only two laps remaining , and this has become an incredible battle . Norris is closing the gap with every corner . Final lap ! He dives down the inside , but Verstappen defends brilliantly . They cross the finish line almost side by side . What an extraordinary finish ! The crowd erupts as the checkered flag waves .
