Pistas 1 The secret of the trek centers on a name tied to the boy they find. 2 They seek a dead body rumored to be nearby. 3 There are four boys, each with a distinct personality. 2 I am the voice that tells the tale, Looking back across the years. I grew up to write of loss and hope, And how a boy confronts his fears. Who am I? Pistas 1 The town all thought that I was bad, A thief, a thug, a hopeless case. But I kept the peace and held the map, And dreamed of leaving that small place. Who am I? 2 Chris Chambers 3 The tracks we walked were straight and long, But one wrong step could seal our doom. A roaring beast came up behind, And left us jumping for our room. What am I? 4 My father's shadow covers me, Because my brother was the star. He died before the summer came, And left a ghost inside our car. Who am I? 5 They call me "Chopper," fierce and mean, A junkyard terror on a chain. But when the boys faced down my fence, I was just a dog, quite ordinary and plain. Who am I? 6 We waited silently in the swamp, Beneath the water, out of sight. We stole the blood right through their clothes, And gave the boys a terrible fright. What are we? 7 I wear a thick and heavy lens, My ears were burned by my own dad. I mimic marches, yell and shout, The wildest friend they ever had. Who am I? 8 The town where all of this began, A sleepy place in sunny Maine. Where four young boys stepped off the curb, And never walked back home the same. What is the town?
