What are literary genres?

Genres are the different ways writers classify literary works based on their styles, purposes, and structures. The three primary genres are lyric, narrative, and theatre, each with distinct aims: expressing feelings, telling stories, and portraying actions on stage.

Género Lírico (Lyric)

The lyric genre expresses emotions, thoughts, and moods through artistic language. It emphasizes musicality, imagery, and personal perspective. Common forms include odes, elegies, and idylls, each exploring feelings rather than narrative action.
