I come from worn-out plastics and new, and travel with water and feed too. What am I, that can pass from pond to plate? 2 I am the system where fish are grown for food, In ponds and cages where water is used. When I am polluted, production is at risk, And contamination becomes more brisk 3 I am a place where waste can settle and stay, Storing tiny plastics that drift my way. I build up slowly beneath the sea, Holding pollution quietly 4 I am the system inside a fish’s core, Breaking down food and much more. When plastics enter, I may be hurt, Affecting health and growth alert. 5 I am the system used to clean water flow, Removing particles that harm fish below. Without me, pollution would increase fast, Making aquaculture hard to last 6 I am the effort to reduce pollution’s spread, Through better management and rules ahead. Farmers use me to keep waters clean, Protecting fish farms and marine scene. 7 I am the first step when waste enters the sea, From farms, homes, and industry. Without control, I travel far, Spreading pollution like a scar. 8 I am a tiny animal food in the sea, Often eaten by fish unknowingly. When I contain plastic, danger begins, Moving toxins through bodies within. 9 I am a place where fish are kept in nets, Floating on water with no regrets. But plastics can pass through my space, Harming life in every place 10 I am a tiny synthetic thread so small, From clothes I break and freely fall. I enter rivers and then the sea, Harming aquatic life silently
