Amir Wah nice. That’s fast. How did you get it? Daniel My dad’s friend is a senior manager there. I did my internship there during semester break. Amir Oh… I worked part-time at a minimart during semester break. I needed to send money home. Daniel Didn’t your university help you get internship placement? Amir They did. But most internships in KL require unpaid training. I couldn’t afford rent and transport. Daniel Yeah, KL rent is crazy. I’m staying with my parents, so no issue. Amir I’m sharing a small room with three friends now. Still expensive. Daniel But you got first class degree right? Amir Yes. But sometimes grades are not enough without connections.
