Every Sunday , my family goes to my grandmother's house for lunch . It is my favorite day of the week !
When we arrive , Grandma is always in the kitchen . She stands next to the and cooks the most delicious meals . The whole house smells wonderful ! She uses a wooden to stir the soup slowly and check if it needs more salt .
My job is to help set the before lunch . I open the in the kitchen and take out all the dishes we need . I put a for each person to eat their food on . Then , I place a on the left side and a and on the right side of each plate .
Grandma always makes her famous vegetable soup as a starter . She serves it in a big in the middle of the table . Everyone takes some with a big serving spoon .
My little brother likes to drink orange juice , so I put a of juice next to his . My parents prefer water , so I fill their glasses too . Grandma always drinks tea after lunch , so I prepare her favorite with a saucer .
We all sit down on a around the table and wait for Grandma . When she finally sits down , we start eating together . The food is always amazing !
After lunch , we help Grandma wash all the dishes and put everything back in the . It takes a while , but we do it together and have lots of fun . Sunday lunch at Grandma's house is always the best part of the week !
