Feedback

Correct (A): Uses an indirect question structure (Could you...) which is polite. The word order is correct (Subject "the station" + Verb "is"). Incorrect (B): Incorrect grammar. In indirect questions, we do not invert the subject and verb (should be "where the station is", not "where is the station"). Incorrect (C): Imperative ("Tell me") is rude to a stranger. Incorrect (D): Too direct and abrupt for a formal/polite context.

Correct (B): Uses softening language ("I would be interested to know") and formal vocabulary ("motivated", "position"). Incorrect (A): Grammatically correct but too direct and slightly aggressive for a formal interview. Incorrect (C): "Want" and "quit" are informal and sound demanding. Incorrect (D): Grammatically incorrect word order in the embedded clause (should be "why you left").

Correct (B): Uses the Passive Voice to focus on the object/event rather than the person, making it diplomatic. Incorrect (A): "You broke" is accusatory and rude. Incorrect (C): "Someone" still implies fault/blame rather than just stating the problem. Incorrect (D): "Busted" is slang and inappropriate for a boss.

Correct (D): "Unfortunately" shows politeness, and "unable to attend" is standard formal vocabulary. Incorrect (A): Too blunt/rude. Incorrect (C): "Refuse" is very harsh and hostile. Incorrect (B): "Can't make it" is a phrasal verb suitable for friends, not business.

Correct (C): Places the responsibility on the speaker to clarify, rather than questioning the listener's intelligence. Incorrect (A): Can sound condescending (like a teacher to a child). Incorrect (B): Sounds aggressive or like a military command. Incorrect (D): "Get it" is too informal/slang.

Correct (B): Correct indirect question word order (Subject "meeting" + Verb "starts"). Incorrect (A): Incorrectly keeps the auxiliary "does" from the direct question. Incorrect (C): Incorrect word order (Verb before Subject). Incorrect (D): Subject-verb agreement error ("meeting" is singular, needs "starts").

Correct (A): "I would appreciate it if..." is a standard polite formula that turns a command into a request. Incorrect (B): Imperative ("Send me") is too commanding. Incorrect (C): "I need" focuses on your needs, not the other person's cooperation. Incorrect (D): "Give me" is very direct and rude in a professional context.
