À propos de cette activité

✏️ Activity Description

Read the text “A Conversation at School” carefully. Then, answer the following multiple-choice questions. Choose the correct option for each question by marking a, b, or c. Each question has only one correct answer.:

It is Monday morning, and the school hallways are full of students. Emma and Lucas are standing near their classroom. Emma is holding her books, and Lucas is drinking some water from a bottle.

“Hi, Lucas! What are you doing?” Emma asks.
“I’m waiting for the bell,” he replies. “Are you going to the library later?”
“Yes, I go to the library every day after class,” Emma says. “Right now, I’m finishing my homework before the teacher arrives.”

Lucas looks around and sees other students. Some of them are running, and others are talking in small groups. The teachers are walking through the hallway and checking that everyone is behaving well.

“I’m studying for the math test,” Lucas says. “I don’t like math very much, but I’m trying to improve.”
Emma smiles. “I like math, but I’m practicing English right now because we have a quiz tomorrow.”

The bell rings. Everyone is walking to their classrooms. Emma and Lucas are talking while they enter the room. The teacher greets the students and starts the lesson. While the teacher is explaining the topic, Emma is taking notes carefully, and Lucas is listening closely.

During class, they often work together. Emma usually helps Lucas with grammar, and Lucas sometimes explains history topics to Emma. They are learning a lot and supporting each other every day at school.
