Most research studies are judged by Validity and Reliability of the instrument or tool they used . in statistical research refers to the ability of the instrument to measure what it claims to measure . refers to the ability to measure variables consistently over time . In experimental research there is a ( n ) variable which is manipulated and a ( n ) variable in which we hope to measure a change .
