Anita : Hi , Toni . You look so happy today .

Toni : Hi , Anita . You know what ? I the Independence Day parade last Saturday .

Anita : Wow , that sounds ! Was it a parade to celebrate Independence Day ?

Toni : Yes , it was . The parade started in the morning at the city square . Before the parade began , all participants gathered for the opening , where the mayor gave a speech .

Anita : That must have been exciting ! What happened next ?

Toni After , the parade officially started . First , the marching band led the way with patriotic songs . Then , groups of students , community organizations , and performers followed behind .

Anita : That sounds so colorful ! What did you do in the parade ?

Toni : In the beginning , I walked with my group carrying . As we moved along the main streets , people cheered and waved their flags . Later , we stopped at the grandstand to traditional dance perfumances .

Anita : That must have been , What happened toward the end of the event ?

Toni : toward the end , there was a closing ceremony in the town square . The winners of various independence Day competitions were announced , and everyone the national anthem together

Anita : That sounds like an experience ! How did you feel after everything was over ?

Toni : I felt proud and happy . It was a long day , and I was tired , but celebrating with everyone made it all worth it .
