À propos de cette activité
This game connects terms and definitions (with matching pictures) to represent the relationship between receptors and different types of drugs. A receptor or drug target is the cellular macromolecule that interacts with drugs and creates a cellular response. Receptors can bind with drugs and cause different biological responses. Agonists increase a biological response while antagonists prevent a response. Receptors allow for drugs to be absorbed by the body and carry out the drugs intended effect.
