They did not want to omit any details , but they also tried not to the dangers , since exaggeration would have ruined their credibility . They wanted to their findings honestly and even managed to disclose new information about the tribe ? s traditions . Unfortunately , one member of the expedition was accused of breaking a local law . He was temporarily , and the feeling of imprisonment was terrible for him .
