Explanation

PS4, PS5 and XBox 360 are gaming consoles, designed only for playing games and entertainment. TVs can be smart but cannot be used as a PC. Desktop, Laptops and Tablets are the 3 main type and have similar components (CPU, RAM, storage etc) but differ in size and portability.

The keyboard and mouse are input devices used to control the computer. The monitor displays the work done by it. The CPU processes instructions and controls all operations, making it the “brain” of the computer.

The Motherboard (mainboard) links all components together. Storage devices like pen drives or hard disk store data permanently. The monitor only displays the work done by the computer and speakers output sound.

The CPU connects to the motherboard and mouse connects via a USB Port. Storage devices are used to store data. The keyboard inputs data into the computer. It’s the monitor that displays information processed by the computer (Output Device).

On a PC, a mouse is used to move the pointer and the trackpad works exactly the same except that it is found on a laptop and not a PC. The printer prints information on paper. It is the keyboard that allows a user to type letters, numbers and symbols etc. on a computer.

The small arrow that moves on the screen as the mouse moves is different directions is called the pointer. The mouse is used to control that pointer and to select objects on the screen by clicking with the mouse. Keyboards, Speakers and Printers are used for the other items respectively.

As you came across in the above question and explanations, it is the Trackpad that is responsible to move the pointer on the screen and is present only in Laptops. Touchscreens are present on certain laptop models, tablets and smart phones. Microphones are used to input sounds.

Speakers and headphones are Audio output devices. So, they help to hear sounds from the computer. Keyboards are used to type. The mouse and trackpad move the mouse pointer on the screen. Printers print information displayed on the monitor down on paper. Scanners produce a digital copy of a scanned photo, image or document on the computer.

Storage devices are used to store data on the computer, The monitor is used to display and the mouse controls the pointer. It is therefore, the printer that is used to produce a copy of a text or image found on the computer, down on paper.

Only the laptop have and 3 in the same casing AND which is also one of the 3 main types of computer systems.
