Last Saturday, Emily went shopping in the city. She wanted to buy a new dress for her friend’s birthday party. She took the bus to the shopping mall at 10 a.m. The mall was big and full of people.
First, Emily went to a clothing store. She tried on three dresses: a red one, a blue one, and a green one. She liked the blue dress the most, so she bought it. It cost $35.
After that, Emily went to the shoe store. She needed black shoes to match her dress. She found a nice pair for $25. Then she bought some earrings at a jewelry shop for $10.
