Going on an excursion

Mark and Laura are from Canada. They are two friends who are planning an excursion to a big forest. They are going to travel to the Amazon forest to learn about the animals and plants we can find in South America. They’re going to travel to Colombia by plane and start their adventure there. To start the trip, they are going to ride a horse for 2 hours, after that they are going to navigate in a boat on the Amazon River. They are not going to have a guide because they want to be adventurous. They are going to use many things to avoid getting lost like a compass, a map and a GPS locator. They are going to do many studies with the animals and plants, and they are going to go back to Canada with a lot of new information.
