It's an interesting fact but in the past only people had books . With the invention of the printing machine , more people were to buy books and so more people learned ! This is how printed books appeared .

Now , thanks to digital technology , we can read books on an e - reader , a tablet or even a smartphone . We don't need to go for books because we can download them the Internet or buy them the Internet .
