This feeling of ? remembering ? events that have never happened is quite : 60 - 70% of people report experiencing déjà vu . The reason behind it is more obscure , , and it's given to many myths . People have déjà vu to memories of past lives , extrasensory abilities , dreams about future events , or even being kidnapped by aliens ! However , science provides us with more
theories .
One such explanation is called ? cryptomnesia . ? This happens when learned information is forgotten in memory , but still stored in our brains .
