Visitors will be fascinated with the life and culture of the 1860s, 1920s and 1970s, which they will discover through interactive presentations to the burden of the inhabitants of the city itself. You can visit several period buildings, such as a pharmacy, a radio and television store, and even a supermarket where Danish sweets are sold. The museum is open from April 1 until New Year. Hints 1 It is a typical Irish fortress built during the Middle Ages. The tower house had square checkpoints at the diagonally opposite corners and finished with thick walls. Originally the tower was surrounded by a quadrangular bawn defended by round towers in the corners. During the summer you can take boat trips on the lake from Ross Castle. Some of the smaller boats allow you to visit the island of Innisfallen. The castle is located both on the route of the Ring of Kerry and on the Kerry Road, picturesque routes to make by car and a cake respectively. 2 This place form part of one of the most important Canals in Center America , and the name of the small lake that separates these locks from the Pedro Miguel Locks upstream. Archaeologists consider probable the dates of construction of the different phases and use between 3100 a. C. and 2000 a. C. The moat and circular mounds, which constitute the first phase of the monument, have been dated to some 5100 years ago. Radiocarbon dating suggests that the first blue stone was erected between 2400 and 2200 BC, although it is not ruled out that there had been settlement or use of the area before 3100 BC. C.2 3 4. The megalithic complex of Stonehenge was proclaimed a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1986.
