These animals include fish, birds, mammals, amphibians, and reptiles. 2 FISH FISH Fish live in the aquatic ecosystem. They breath oxygen from the water through their gills. They can be carnivorous, omnivorous or herbivore. They are oviparous because females lay eggs in their habitas. They live in fresh water, but most of them live in salt water. 3 ANPHIBIANS AMPHIBIANS Amphibians are vertebrates. They are cold blooded. They cannot control their body temperature. They are oviparous. ( they lay eggs to reproduce). They live part of their lives in water and part on land. They go through metamorphosis. 4 REPTILES REPTILES They have a body adapted for aquatic or terrestrial life. They are oviparous but do not incubate eggs like birds. Their body is covered with scales. Their body temperature fluctuates depending on how warm or cold their environment is. 5 BIRDS BIRDS They have a body adapted to fly. Their upper limbs are in the form of wings. They have an aerodynamic shape. They are oviparous. They incubate their eggs. 6 MAMMALS MAMMALS Mammals are the most advanced species among vertebrates. A head, a truck, limbs and a tail make up a mammal body. They have a hairy body. Sea mammals, such as the whale, have hair follicles. They can be carnivorous, omnivores or herbivores. They breathe through lungs. They are viviparous. Their teeth are different according to their diet.
