I shine bright in the early light, People wake up to start their day right. Some eat toast, some drink tea, What time of day could I be?

2

The sun is high, it’s warm and bright, It’s after morning, but not yet night. It’s time for food, a tasty bunch, What do we eat? It’s called...

3

The sun is low, the sky turns red, It’s not quite night, but day has fled. What time of day am I, so neat? I come before you sleep!

4

When the stars come out and the moon is bright, People sleep until morning light. What time is this, dark and deep? A time for dreams when we all sleep!

5

When the big hand’s on the twelve, the small one points too, We say the time, I help you! You hear me on the clock each day, Tick-tock, what do I say?

6

It’s after lunch, but not yet night, The sun still shines, the sky is bright. What time of day is in between? It’s not morning, that is seen!

7

I tell the time in a special way, When the big hand’s halfway, hear me say! I mean 30 minutes, that’s a fact, What’s my name? Just think back!

8

When you wake, you eat me fast, Eggs or cereal, I’m a blast! I start your day with something neat, What meal am I? What do you eat?

9

Not too big, not too small, I come between meals, not at all tall. Cookies or fruit, a little bite, What am I? Guess me right!

10

At the end of the day, when work is done, Families sit and eat as one. Hot and tasty, before goodnight, What meal is this? That’s right!
