Tourists bring destruction
Overtourism ( to become ) a problem not only for the locals but also for tourist destinations .
Venice ( to be ) one of the most romantic destinations in Europe for years . Tourists drink wine and eat pizza in its cafés , take pictures on its bridges , but not many of them ( to think ) about the cost of all of it .
Most of them come here on huge cruise ships . Those same ships ( to bring ) air and water pollution to the city . The waves that come from them ( to have ) a bad effect on the buildings . On top of that , studies ( to show ) that in the year 2100 , it will be underwater because of climate change . So , people should take care of Venice while it's still there .

? Machu Picchu is famous for its 15th century Inca citadel . Tourists love hiking there . However , it's not good news for the landmark . Crowds of tourists leave their rubbish on the trail or throw it into the local river .
Because of the pollution , some types of plants and the beautiful Spectacled Bear could disappear . Well , at least they ( to take ) some pictures and ( to buy ) alpaca hats !

Brúarfoss Waterfall , Iceland
