The Test of Time

When Ben and Alex met during university , they instantly clicked . They shared a love for music , late - night debates about philosophy , and the same quirky sense of humor . They quickly became best friends and would often for hours after class , discussing everything from their future dreams to trivial daily matters .

After graduation , life took them in different directions . Ben moved abroad for a job , while Alex stayed in their hometown . At first , they tried to keep in touch , but as months turned into years , they slowly with each other . Busy schedules and time zones got in the way , and soon , their once - close bond faded into sporadic messages and social media updates .

Years later , Ben returned home for a visit and decided to reconnect with Alex .
