upon a time , in a small , snow - village nestled in the heart of the mountains , there a group of children who eagerly awaited the arrival of Christmas . The village was adorned with twinkling , and the air was filled with the scent of pine and freshly snow .

In the village , there was a one - room schoolhouse where the children each day to learn from their kind and wise teacher , Mrs . Claus . Yes , that was her real name , and she was for her love of and her enchanting storytelling .
