They are not afraid of making green claims ion order to sell their products. 2 Gerunds 2 Gerunds can be the subject of a sentence: Making claims..... the object of sentence: They like making claims... Gerunds can also be used after verbs such as to be interested in....(making claims) to be afraid of....
