Explanation

A Web browser, often just called a \"browser,\" is the program people use to access the World Wide Web. It interprets HTML code including text, images, hypertext links, Javascript, and Java applets. After rendering the HTML code, the browser displays a nicely formatted page.

As the name implies, a server serves information to computers that connect to it. When users connect to a server, they can access programs, files, and other information from the server. Common servers are Web servers, mail servers, and LAN servers. A single computer can have several different server programs running on it.

An address string containing the access protocol, domain name, and file or resource path which is normally used to specify the address of a web page, image, or other document on the Internet.

The World Wide Web, or just \"the Web,\" as ordinary people call it, is a subset of the Internet. The Web consists of pages that can be accessed using a Web browser. The Internet is the actual network of networks where all the information resides.

By clicking on a link, you can \"jump\" to a new Web page or a completely different Web site.

Many people think the Internet and the World Wide Web are the same thing. They\'re not! The World Wide Web is what you are browsing right now. It is one of the many features of the Internet. E-mail, FTP, and Instant Messaging are also features of the Internet.
