What is colorimetry in clothes? Colorimetry is considered a science that studies the effect that colours cause. It can be applied in many aspects, from the most artistic, scientific, technological and, in this case, fashion and image.
The effect of colour in the clothes we wear every day makes it possible for us to give a better or worse impression. So for a job interview, a date with a possible love interest or a meeting where you want to give a positive first impression, choosing the correct garment colour can help you in this task.
The study of colorimetry in clothes will help you know if a colour suits you. To do this, you must take into account three very easy to identify traits: the colour of your hair, the colour of your eyes and the tone of your skin. The result of evaluating these parameters will place you in one of the 4 types, which take the name of the seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
Discovering at least your colour season and the colours that favour you and those that you should avoid, is essential. Techniques often used in the world of fashion, film and television, colorimetry in clothing will help you give you the clearest image of yourself. For both men and women, more and more people decide to use colour as an infallible aesthetic weapon. Let`s get started!

How do you know if your skin is cold or warm?
7
The three factors of skin tone
First factor: Sunburn or tanning. If you've gone to the beach and been out in the sun for a long time, you may have noticed the following: If your skin is more prone to tanning than burning, your skin is warm regardless of your skin tone. On the other hand, if after sunbathing (or even just by the warm summer wind in the shade, without direct exposure) you end up with reddened skin and without tanning too much, your skin is probably cold.
8
Second factor of skin tone
Second factor: The colour of the veins on your wristsThe second factor of colorimetry that you must take into account to know if your skin is cold or warm is the colour of the veins on your wrists. If your veins look more green, your skin is probably warm. If your veins look more blue or purplish, then your skin is cold.
9
Third Factor of skin colour
Third factor: Silver or gold? Finally, the third factor is whether you feel that gold or silver suits you better. If you notice that gold illuminates your face, your skin is warm. On the other hand, if it is silver that makes your features stand out better, your skin is undoubtedly cold. It also works by wearing blue or yellow clothes near the face: if yellow suits you a lot, your skin will be warm and if blue does, your skin will be cold.
10
The temperature of your face: EYES
One of the key factors in identifying your colour station is the temperature of your face. To do this, you must take into account whether the features of your face are cold or warm. Eyes warm or coldIf your eyes are green, honey-coloured, slightly golden, light brown eyes or have different pigments between blue, green and yellowish tones, your eyes are warm. On the other hand, if your eyes are black, dark brown, grey or completely blue, your eyes are cold.
11
The temperature of your face: HAIR
Hair cold or warm?If your hair is mostly blonde, reddish, mahogany or light brown, your hair has a warm characteristic. On the other hand, if your hair is dark brown, black, ash blonde, dull mahogany or completely white, it is undoubtedly a cold hue.
12
Which face temperature are you?
Which face temperature are you?If two of the results so far are warm, then you have a warm face temperature. If instead cold results predominate, then you have a cold face temperature.
13
The appearance of your face.
14
The appearance of your face Factors
The appearance of your faceThe second characteristic that you must take into account to determine your colour station is the appearance of your face, that is, how your face can be seen. Here we will have to see if your features have a light or dark harmony. - Eyes: if your eyes predominate blue, green, grey or golden colours, they are understood as clear; On the other hand, if your eyes are brown or black, they are understood as dark.
- Hair: if your hair is brown or dark brown, it is considered to be dark. If your hair is blonde or red, it is understood to be light.
- Skin: To determine the appearance of your skin, we must check how it looks to the naked eye, regardless of whether we have discovered if your skin is warm or cold. We must observe our skin and check if it is very pale to flushed, so it will be light skin; or if instead, it is tanned or dark, which is why it will be dark skin.
If the light factors predominate, the appearance of your face will be clear. If instead, the dark features predominate, then the result will be dark.

What is my colour season?
What is my colour season? At this point, you should know the three characteristics of your face: if it is warm or cold; whether it is light or dark; and if it is smooth or shiny. It is time for you to finally know what your colour season is and get to know which are the colours that suit you and which you should avoid.
- Spring: Your face is warm and clear.
- Summer: Your face is cold and clear.
- Autumn: Your face is warm and dark.
- Winter: Your face is cold and dark.
SpringPeople whose colorimetry is the spring colour season have warm and clear faces. They are usually people with blond or red hair, with light eyes. Their skin will range from light to golden skin. They may have freckles and flushed cheeks. The colour palette that favours people with this colorimetry is this one:
SummerPeople in the summer colour season have cold and clear faces. They usually have very light or luminous skin, usually uniform over the entire face. Their hair wavers in all shades of blonde except ash blonde and light brown. Their eyes are normally light, ranging from blue to brown. The colour palette that favours people with this colorimetry is as follows:
AutumnPeople belonging to the autumn colour season have warm and dark faces. They stand out for their green or brown eyes, with reddish and brown hair of different shades. Their skin usually has golden features, giving a warm appearance and they may have some freckles. The colour palette that favours people with this colorimetry is this one:
WinterPeople who belong to the winter colour season have cold and dark faces. The eyes of these people can be dark brown, black or totally blue, with no trace of other colours in them. Their hair can range from dark brown, black, or grey. Their skin can vary a lot: from people of African origin or white people who are very pale. Its tonality is quite uniform throughout the face.
