With reference to your advertisement in the July edition of the local newspaper "The Word", I am interested in applying for the position of tour guide.
I am 15 years old and currently attending classes at Carlos Saavedra Lamas School where I am training to give directions to get to places and to recommend best places in our town.
I also took part in the project to produce our own materials.
For example, we added information about interesting sites in our town as well as recorded an audioguide for tourists to find places by themselves in town.
I consider myself to be punctual, hard-working and fair. I enjoy working with children and adults as well and have good organisation skills.
I enclose a reference from my school head teacher. I would be grateful if you would consider my application. I'm available for an interview any weekday morning. I look forward to hearing from you.
