 Rules for tipping taxi drivers vary with
countries and sometimes with the driver.

A culture is the distinct way of life of a
group of people. It includes values and
beliefs, customs and material products like
buildings, mode of transportation, weapons
and tools.
Culture is a set of accepted behaviour
patterns, values, assumptions and shared
common experiences.

Cultural diversity focuses on the differences in culture/nationalities and having to effectively deal with all.
Cultural awareness – developing sensitivity and understanding of another ethnic group. This involves internal changes in terms of attitudes and values.

Communication: is a two way process of sending
and receiving messages (instructions, information, ideas,
thoughts, feelings) to create a common understanding.Communication
Process: is an ongoing activity, a series of actions that has neither beginning or ending
Sender : encodes and relays the message
Receiver: decodes/interprets the message and provides feedback

Why do we communicate??
The purpose of any given communication may be;
 To initiate some action;
 To impart information, ideas, attitudes, beliefs or feelings;
 To establish, acknowledge or maintain links or relations with other peopleInitiating Action
