As soon as I got , I bumped an old schoolmate , Mark . While we were talking , he mentioned something I had already found from some mutual friends ? that he had casually come some money and had set his own business . He told me that there was a lot to , and offered to take me , but I turned his offer straight away . When I checked ( arrived in the office ) my boss had a go at me , telling me in front of everyone . When I got the initial shock , I told her I would make being late , but it turned that she had blown up over a deal that had fallen through , after a client of mine had pulled out of a contract . She told me I wouldn't get , that I had let everybody , and just went and on ? Eventually I had no more patience and answered back - I said I wasn't going to put it anymore , and if she wanted to fire me , she should go ahead . Anyway , to cut a long story short , I stormed , phoned Mark ? s secretary , who put me throught to him . I told Mark I'd like to take his offer . So , in the end everything ? s worked perfectly
