? My name is Martha . I was born in 1965 . I am a divorced
mother of two - Tiffany and Thomas . I grew up by
my family , my mother and my father and my two sisters . At
that time we didn ? t have computers , so we outside with
our neighborhood friends , made up our own games , and even
made some of our own toys when we were in a creative .
In the summers we rode our bikes , played catch , played baseball
and softball in the park , and had swings in the backyard . In the
winters there were snow ? ghts and sledding . We spent a lot of
time outdoors . As teenagers , while we to play sports ,
we were also into music and music videos . I feel like my children
did much less of that . They spent more time indoors playing video
games and board games , and reading . It makes me think that they

? I am Tiffany . I was born in 1993 . My childhood was a happy
one . My brother and I played lots of video games at home or at our
friends ? homes . We had all the games , and our friends loved
coming to our house . We were not really into sports , although I
don ? t a basketball game or football game on TV . We did read a lot though . Mom used to take us to the library every week , and she always the importance of reading and getting a good education .

I ? nished two years ago . , I work as a part - time
secretary , but this is out of necessity rather than choice . Full - time
jobs are dif ? cult to come by . I studied in college , and there doesn ? t seem to be much demand for political scientists on the market , so I may go back to grad school and train to be a teacher , but I am still my options . In the meantime , I live with my mom as I ? t the high rents downtown on my salary . I am happy to be near my family , but I know that my mom worries about my future .
Maybe I should have studied something more practical . A lot of my
friends are in a similar - either back home with their parents , or sharing an apartment downtown . I don ? t like sharing , so I prefer to live with my mom . my will get itself sorted , but the economy is right now . ?
