Lara Maiklem ? s leisure time activity is called mudlarking .
On the day of the interview , she got hold of Roman , a musket ball , a coin and pins .
After searching for a while in a small area , she along the foreshore .
The tide allows mudlarks to go to the foreshore and search the for historical items .
When ships arrived with spices and rum , criminals would aboard and rob them .
Mudlarks would pick up whatever they could so as to sell it .
Some museum people are likely to be in horror if they know about her unorthodox methods .
The host remembers that when pulling some objects out of the mud , Lara has witnessed the bright colours immediately .
She compares the bright lid that faded away to the film Raiders of the Lost Ark when turn into dust .
Because of the quick erosion of the foreshore , a medieval is washing away .
Among her findings , she is especially fond of a shoe with its little on the top .
