The digital footprint we leave after browsing websites is called the internet footprint .
These can be in form of what is commonly called " cookies " and most will ask you to accept the use of cookies before you can the site , without actually knowing what this means .
With our digital footprint growing daily , more individuals find it challenging to manage their online identity and fully understand how sharing or a post can affect their future career or relationship with a loved one .
Settings help you indicate whether or not you give consent for the collection , use and disclosure of your . Please be careful with your settings always !
If the settings are ignored , sometimes you can experience unpleasent events . For example , attacks are unwelcome attempts to steal , expose , alter , disable or destroy through unauthorized access to computer systems .
