Deep canal around the castle. Sometimes with water and other times just dry.

A path behind the walls through the one soldiers walked to defend the walls of the castle.

The fortified tower in wich the lord and family lived.

Protective structures at the top of the walls and towers.

An opening on the entrance wich was used to drop stones or maybe boiling oil to the enemies who tried to enter.
