This monument is located on the Alto del Oso hill in Belalcázar , Caldas. It is around 45 meters high, it has a chapel (capilla), and going up its 154 steps you find a view point with an amazing view.

Valle del Cocora is located in the Quindio province and it's the home place of our emblematic tree La Palma de Cera. It's a natural reserve where you can find inspiring landscapes and diverse flora and fauna.

The Mariposario , is located in Quindíos's Botanical Garden in Calarcá. It was founded by Alberto Gómez Mejía in 1979 and in 2000 it became a touristic site. It is also a scientific research centre.

There are several coffee growing farms in the countryside of provinces like Risaralda , Quindío, Caldas and Valle del Cauca. In many of these places people can learn about coffee growing process and harvest , and cultural aspects of the region

The Jeep Willys or Yipao has been used for decades to transport farming products and other stuff like farm animals and furniture. It is also used for a traditional parade celebrated anually that involves 4 categories : agricultural products , furniture transport , a freee category and acrobatic performace

Lots of farmers , or campesinos work really hard sowing and collecting coffee to go through life.

Los Nevados Natural National Park consists of 5 snow-capped peaks: Nevado del Ruiz , Nevado del Tolima , Nevado de Santa Isabel, Nevado del Cisne and Nevado del Quindío. This area is shared by the provinces of Quindío, Risaralda , Tolima and Caldas.

Salento is one of the oldest municipalities of the Coffee Region. It is a beautiful town with houses and buildings that represent a colonial design. One of its most famous streets is known as Calle Real.

Marsella is a small town in the province of Risaralda. Beautiful colonial architecture as well as interesting sites such as the Alejandro Humboldt Botanical Garden and the Jesus Maria Estrada cementery are located here

Fauna is rich and varied in this region. There are around 600 hundred bird species in the coffee region.
