Dynamic
A dynamic indicated by the letter "mp" underneath the music. This tells the player to play medium soft.
The sharps or flats at the beginning of a piece of music that are in effect for the entire piece unless you see a natural sign.
A dynamic indicated by the letter "f" underneath the music. This tells the player to play loud or with force.
Caesura, indicates a pause in the music. Often called a "railroad track."
