Picasso periods

AFRICAN PERIOD: During this period he liked painting in a style influenced by African Masks.

ROSE PERIOD. He liked painting with pink, red and orange during this period. It was a short period in which he was very happy. He painted clows because he liked the circus.

BLUE PERIOD. He liked painting with blue and green during this period. He painted with blue because he was very sad.

CUBISM. During this period Picasso painted people, objects or cities with geometrical shapes. For example, he used triangles, squares, circles or rectangles.
