The jungle is hot and wet. it rains a lot. there are many trees in the jungle. monkeys and colorful birds live in the jungle. there are some very big cats too!
The desert is dry and hot during the day and cold at night. there are not many trees or plants there. lizards and snakes live in the desert.
It’s frigid and you’re surrounded by ice. you wonder how any animal could survive in this extreme cold. then a polar bear and her cubs lumber by, and in the ocean behind them a whale erupts from the water.
Some animals live in the water. the biggest body of water is the ocean. many kind of fish live in the ocean. other animals live there too, like whales, sharks and seals.
The forest is a cool, dark place with many trees. deer, raccoons and foxes live in a forest habitat.
