When a player impedes the progress of an opponent by “hooking” him with his stick.

When a player strikes an opponent with your stick above shoulder level.

When a player uses his elbow purposely to foul an opponent.

When a stick or any portion of a player’s body is used to cause an opposing player to fall.

To impede progress of an opponent who doesn’t have the puck or who is pursuing the puck. Also called for knocking an opponent’s fallen stick out of his reach.
