Not what we are doing in this project...building the 1st mousetrap car. What we are doing in this project...Improving upon a mousetrap car design. Take my mousetrap car design, go in the hallway, wind it up, and let the car go to see how it performs Perform experiments on mousetrap cars AND learn science concepts around mousetrap cars to understand how they work Stepwise process used to innovate a mousetrap car design by using scientific knowledge Go back to step 3 and re-develop a solution based on my observations of how my mousetrap car idea performed The scientific method is the research section of the engineering design process Watch the mousetrap car that I have designed AND look for areas where it can be improved
