designs and conducts assessments and evaluations of educational programs to measure their effectiveness and impact, identify areas for improvement, and provide feedback to instructors and administrators (see chapter 5).
Designs and implements programs (see chapter 4) that address the skill gaps in the workforce, with the goal of helping workers acquire new skills and knowledge that match the needs of employers and industries.
Creates and develops educational materials, programs, and courses, utilizing a multiplicity of technologies and instructional design principles to ensure effective and engaging learning experiences (see chapter 18).
oversees the development and implementation of workforce education and development programs, ensuring that they align with the needs of learners, employers, and industries (see chapter 17).
Develops and delivers educational programs that prepare learners for specific careers and industries. They work in secondary schools, community colleges, and vocational schools.
Provides educational programs for adult learners who may need to develop their basic literacy, numeracy, or language skills, or who seek to earn a high school diploma or an equivalency credential (see chapter 7).
Oversees the operations and management of educational programs and institutions, ensuring that they meet the needs of learners, comply with regulations, and achieve their educational goals.
Create and design educational curricula that align with industry standards and meet the needs of learners and employers (see chapter 10).
Helps individuals to identify their career goals, assess their skills and interests, and develop a plan for achieving their career objectives. They may work in schools, colleges, or private organizations.
Assists with the development of employees’ knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform their jobs in an effective manner while advancing their careers (see chapter 10).
